WHAT'S GOING ON IN GREEK LIFE?

By LISA BROWN
November 25, 2006

  • The sisters of Alpha Sigma Pi hosted a blood drive with Carolina’s Medical Center. We had a great turnout at this event!

  • Greek Council hosted a Halloween carnival on October 31st. The members of Greek life along with many other organizations on campus provided a night of fun and games for the children in the Belmont community. The sisters of Tau Kappa Delta also sold “Boo Grams” to the students on campus.

  • The fraternities and sororities on campus have also been active in the Adopt-A-Highway Program.

  • The brothers of Phi Kappa Theta generously donated funds to redo Clancy’s! Look for changes in the near future!

  • Greek Council has been working on a program called “Support Our Troops.” This program gives students the opportunity to thank our military though the donation of non-perishable items and letters of encouragement.

  • Greek Council has been very active this year and looks forward to another productive semester. Students can look forward to a Dance Marathon, a Men’s and Women’s Educational Series, Spring Benefit Formal/Auction, and a Lock-In.

Thanks to ReGinae Reynolds & Courtney Sheehy for their help compiling these items.
